A Gruesome Scene

In "Bride of Frankenstein", the child's feet are only shown.  This intense deleted scene shows a lot more.

    I'm betting that's a promotional still and not part of a deleted scene (the drowning part has been restored on recent releases). The dead girl in the photo above is wearing radically different clothes than Maria wore in the film, and she doesn't even seem to be the same actress.

      It's not supposed to be Maria. This still is from "Bride of Frankenstein". In the film, all you see is the little girl's feet.

      It may have been staged for a still, however. Who knows???
